A supporting pin 31 is rotatably assembled to the shift direction rotational center of a shift lever 20, and bushes 32, 33 with elasticity are respectivy pvdedat both ends of the supporting pin 31. Both bushes 32, 33 are assembled slidably in a select direction to supporting grooves 11a, 11b with the bottom faces formed into circular arc shape curved faces with the select direction rotational center 01, formed at a shift retainer 10, as the center, thus constituting shift mechanism for a transmission.
