Abstract:
To provide a shift range controller capable of stopping a motor accurately.SOLUTION: A shift range controller 40 switches shift range by controlling drive of a motor 10 having a motor winding 11. An angle calculation part 51 calculates an encoder count value CNT, on the basis of a signal from a rotation angle sensor 13 for detecting the rotational position of a rotor 105. An electrification control section 55 drives the rotor 105 so that the encoder count value CNT becomes a target count value CNT_T according to a target shift range, and controls electrification to the motor winding 11, so that the rotor 105 stops at a position where the encoder count value CNT becomes the target count value CNT_T. During stop control for stopping the rotor 105, a zero point estimation part 56 estimates a speed 0 point, i.e., the timing when the revolution speed of the oscillating rotor 105 becomes 0. The electrification control section 55 switches current control at the estimated speed 0 point.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
