PURPOSE: To manufacture a shifting mechanism which can surely suppress the generation of vibration during the advance and retreat of a shiftable body, in small-sized and at a low cost.

CONSTITUTION: A shifting mechanism is equipped with a pulse motor 32, crank means 34, shiftable body 36 which freely advances and retreats, guide member 38 for guiding the shiftable body 36, and a leaf spring member 40 interposed between the shiftable body 36 and the guide member 38. The leaf spring member 40 is made of the resin material such as polyoxymethylene, and is integrally constituted of a pair of hook pieces 60a and 60b for the insertion of a pin 52a, hook piece 62 engaged with a pin 52b, flexural part 64 which is curved, and a pin part 66 which is installed at the top part of the flexural part 64 and inserted into the groove part 56a of the guide member 38.
