Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely synchronize timing for torque correction for reducing shifting shock with completion of shifting even when there is irregularity related to fastening capacity of friction elements.
SOLUTION: Torque down operation for reducing shifting shock is started at time t1 when a gear ratio Gr started to move from a pre-shifting gear ratio Gr1 toward a post-shifting gear ratio Gr2, and target transmission input torque Tio for torque down operation is outputted. After response delay, the engine reduces the torque Te to become lower than a target torque Teo. Based on time change rate (d/dt)Gr for Gr and gear ratio difference ΔGr till the post-shifting gear ratio Gr2, predicted shifting completing time T2=ΔGr/(d/dt)Gr till shifting completing time t3 for Gr=G4w, is computed. Based on torque difference ΔTe between actual engine torque Te during torque down operation and target engine torque Teo in accordance with driving states, and engine speed Ne, prescribed time T1 required for returning from a torque down completing command to Te=Teo is determined. The torque down completing command is generated at t2 to satisfy T2≤T1, and torque returning control is started.
