PURPOSE: To automatically supply shims from a circular metal plate having the many radially formed long narrow-shaped shims on the same circumference.

CONSTITUTION: A device is constituted of holder 31 for rotatably fixing a shims disk 30, mechanism for rotating the shim disk 30, mechanism for protruding ships 33 in a vertical direction relating to a surface of the shim disk 30 and a mechanism for positioning to a prescribed attitude after flexing several times the protruded shims. The rotating mechanism of the shim disk 30, corresponding 1:1 to the shim 33 in the outermost peripheral part of the disk, is constituted of a pin provided in the point end of four sheets of leaf springs displaced by each 1/4 pitch respectively to a pitch of a positioning hole 32 formed on the same circumference, four sets of cams for pressing the leaf spring 3 and a motor for driving the cam.
