Abstract:
This ship maneuvering assistance system comprises: a storage device that stores a nautical chart image, a diagram of the host ship, and a tugboat diagram; a detection device that detects the position and the direction of the ship and a tugboat; at least one display; and a processor that causes the display to display a ship maneuvering assistance screen. The ship maneuvering assistance screen includes: the nautical chart image that includes a quay; the ship diagram arranged on the nautical chart image on the basis of the position and the direction of the ship; the tugboat diagram arranged on the nautical chart image on the basis of the position and the direction of the tugboat; and tugboat propeller information which is arranged on the tugboat diagram and which shows, for each of a plurality of tugboat propellers mounted on the tugboat, the direction of propulsion force generated by each tugboat propeller.
