Abstract:
To provide a ship maneuvering system capable of placing an operation state of a ship propulsion device under proper management by a ship operator, and to provide a ship including the same.SOLUTION: A ship maneuvering system 102 includes: a ship operator fob Fo which is carried by a ship operator; ship maneuvering operation elements 33 and 36 which are installed on a ship 100 and operated by the ship operator to give instructions to generate propulsion force; and a ship maneuvering controller 50 which is installed on the ship and controls the operation of an outboard motor 1 according to the operation of the ship maneuvering operation elements. The ship maneuvering system further includes a communication unit 60 which has a function as a ship-leaving sensor for detecting that the ship operator has left the ship while carrying the ship operator fob. When it is detected that the ship operator has left the ship while carrying the ship operator fob, even if the outboard motor is in an operation state capable of generating the propulsion force according to the operation of the ship maneuvering operation elements, the ship maneuvering controller performs operation state holding control (specifically, neutral holding control) to hold an operation state where the outboard motor does not generate the propulsion force, irrespective of the operation of the ship maneuvering operation elements.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
