Abstract:
To provide a method for conveying and setting up a large number of offshore structures which can be used irrespective of any swell and any meteorological state, and conveyed and set up within the specific time, and to provide a ship therefor.
The ship 1.1 for conveying and setting up the offshore structures has a hull 2 with a U-shaped cross-section having an open stern 12 and projections 9.1, 9.2 on sidewalls 4.1, 4.2 extending to a rear part beyond the rear edge of a floor 3, jack-up leg systems 15.1, 15.2, 15.3, 15.4 with jack-up legs 16.1, 16.2, 16.3, 16.4 integrated in the hull 2 that are movable in the vertical direction with their bottom ends in positions below the floor, and a crane 20 movable on top edges of the sidewalls.
