Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship propulsion system having an exhaust heat recovery system capable of providing information related to operation efficiency of a ship propulsion assist system to a ship operator.SOLUTION: A ship propulsion system having an exhaust heat recovery system comprises: a mode selection unit 55 for selecting an operation mode of a shaft generator-motor 13; an efficiency calculation unit 51 for calculating efficiency of the shaft generator-motor 13; and a mutual relation display unit 53 for displaying the efficiency so as to be visually recognizable. By displaying the efficiency of the shaft generator-motor 13 visually, an operator disliking an automatic operation can freely select a preferable operation mode while taking the efficiency and other situations into consideration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
