Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistance reducing device of a hull, capable of preventing occurrence of checks in the structure of a gas holding structure that inhibits deviation of flow of bubbles from the bottom of a hull to the sides thereof.SOLUTION: The resistance reducing device 20 of a hull includes an air blow-off device 30 that blows air off from an air-blow-off outlet 31 provided at the bottom 13 of the hull 10, and a plurality of gas holding structures 41, 42 provided at the bottom 13 thereof. The plurality of gas holding structures 41, 42 respectively include a plurality of gas holding plates 51, 52 arranged along the hull 10 in the backward and forward direction X. The plurality of gas holding plates 51, 52 are so arranged that gaps 61, 62 may be provided in the backward and forward direction X. The plurality of gas holding structures 41, 42 include a first gas holding structure 41 disposed at the side edge part 13a of the portside of the bottom 13 of the hull and a second gas holding structure 42 allocated at the side edge part 13b of the bow side of the bottom 13 of the hull.
