Abstract:
To provide a ship having a lower fuel consumption level.
The ship includes at least one cargo space, and a plurality of Magnus rotors 10. The Magnus rotors 10 are arranged in a corner point region in at least one cargo space forming a rectangular region. With the Magnus rotors, electric motors are coordinated, respectively, which are separately operable to rotate the Magnus rotors. With the electric motors, converters are coordinated, respectively, which control the rotating speeds and/or directions of the electric motors.
