Abstract:
To provide a ship which can effectively utilize an excessive portion of boil off gas (BOG) without using a re-liquefaction device.SOLUTION: A ship 1 includes: a tank 2 for storing LNG; a motor 6 which drives a propulsive propeller 11; and an engine 4 which drives a power generator 5. Further, the ship 1 includes a supply path 3 which supplies boil off gas (BOG) generated in the tank 2 to the engine 4 as a fuel. The motor 6 and the power generator 5 are connected to a propulsive power line 15. A capacitor 7 for storing electric power generated in the power generator 5 is connected to the propulsive power line 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
