Abstract:
A ship includes: a gas-consuming apparatus for propulsion; a tank storing liquefied natural gas; a first supply line provided with a compressor, the first supply line leading boil off gas generated in the tank to the gas-consuming apparatus; a branch line whose both ends are connected to the first supply line at an upstream side of the compressor; a second supply line that takes the liquefied natural gas out of the tank, and leads vaporization gas resulting from vaporization of the liquefied natural gas to the gas-consuming apparatus or another gas-consuming apparatus; a heat exchanger that performs heat exchange between the liquefied natural gas flowing through the second supply line and the boil off gas flowing through the branch line; an adjustment valve that adjusts a flow rate of the boil off gas flowing through the branch line; and a controller that controls the adjustment valve such that, under a predetermined condition, a temperature of the liquefied natural gas flowing out of the heat exchanger is kept to a setting temperature.
