Abstract:
The invention relates to a ship such as a large liner or similar which is provided with one or more small boats for journeys outside the ship, the small boats being considerably smaller than the ship. According to the invention, a space 1 is provided inside the stern of the ship, this space being isolated in a watertight manner from the rest of the ship and having at least one opening 4 which can be partially or completely closed and allows communication with the sea outside, the small boat 3 being placed in this space. The invention is intended, in particular, for cruise ships.
