Abstract:
To provide a shipment device and a shipment method enabling shipment even on a quay having small width.
This shipment device for loading a cargo to be loaded on a ship 1 coming alongside the quay 2 is provided with a self-propelling receiving device 5 for receiving the cargo to be loaded from a dump truck 3, a self-propelling charging device 13 for charging the cargo received by the self-propelling receiving device 5 into the ship 1, and a conveyance device 12 having three conveyance conveyors 12A, 12B, 12C and conveying the cargo received by the self-propelling receiving device 5 to the self-propelling charging device 13 while following travel of the self-propelling charging device 13.
