PURPOSE: To provide a ship's dodger structure having the capability of isolating the effect of an accommodation and a navigation bridge such as a natural frequency on a dodger, and applying a lightweight design and a unitized system.

CONSTITUTION: A platform 15 and a catwalk 16 constituting a dodger 10 is independently supported on an upper deck 12. In this case, the dodger 10 is slightly separated from an accommodation upper structure 13 and a navigation bridge 14 via a small gap 29. As a result, the dodger 10 becomes free from an effect due to the natural frequency of the accommodation upper structure 13 and the navigation bridge 14, and can be made lightweight or unitized as an independent structure. Furthermore, the dodger 10 can be easily installed to cope with an intended purpose simply by changing the length of the catwalk 16 and the height of supports 17 and 19 thereof, regardless of a ship's size.
