Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent crosstalk occurring in the non-selection sections of a pictorial display.
SOLUTION: When a pictorial display section P is selected, all non-selection signals are outputted with the signal electrode Si6 of the signal electrodes Sib of LSI 31 used as the scanning electrode for pictorial display and all selection signals are outputted with the signal electrode Si5 of the signal electrodes Sib used as a display electrode to light the pictorial display section P. On the other hand, when the pictorial display section P is not selected, all non-selection signals are outputted with a signal electrode Si6 of the signal electrodes Sib as the scanning signal for pictorial display and with the signal electrode Si5 used as the display electrode for pictorial display to make the effective value of the non-selection voltage roughly zero and to unlight the pictorial display section P.
