To provide a shock absorbable power transmission device by which the comimng off of a cutable pin for connecting a shaft member with a pipe member mutually can be prevented and a stable destruction load is obtained.
A shaft member 1 is connected with a pipe member 2 fitted to this shaft member 1 together by a spline joint 3 in an axis direction relatively movably and in a rotation direction relatively untumably. Both are connected mutually by a cutable pin 9 inserted in through holes 6, 7 formed respectively on these shaft member 1 and pipe member 2. A tube 4 for transmitting the power is installed on the end 5A of the pipe member 2. The through hole 7 formed on the pipe member 2 is opened facing to the inner periphery side of the tube 4. The cutable pin inserted in the through holes 6, 7 is prevented its coming off by this tube by that its both ends are arranged facing to the inner periphery side of the tube.
