Abstract:

PURPOSE: To easily further surely assemble a bicycle shock absorber to an axle by mounting a spring means to be interposed between a link and a bracket and fixing the link, arranged in both ends of the axle, by an axle-tightening screw, provided in the link, to the axle.

CONSTITUTION: A belleville spring 13 is mounted interposing between right and left links 3 and brackets 4. An axle 2, placed in a condition that a tire is fixed by a nut 8, is fixed by an axle-tightening thread 9 to the link 3. Accordingly, when the axle 2 is mounted to the link 3, it is urged by the belleville spring 13 in a direction of holding the tire, holding a contact condition with an internal wall surface 4A of each bracket 4, so that under this condition, when the axle 2 is fixed to the link 3, both the links 3 and the axle 2, being integrally built, are disabled from moving to both the right and left in a direction of the axle. Accordingly, a bicycle shock absorber is easily further surely built in the axle.
