Abstract:
To provide a device for setting a dimension parameter related to a value of a shock absorber dimension of a shock absorber of an aircraft landing device.SOLUTION: A device comprises a processor for identifying a range of a value related to each of plural performance characteristics of performances which a shock absorber can perform, and identifying each probability distribution of a value about each operation range in the identified range. The processor repeats a step (step 306) for selecting each value of the performance characteristic based on each probability distribution as an input to a computer execution model for determining a value of a shock absorber dimension, and a step (step 308) for using the selected value and the computer execution model for determining a given value of the shock absorber dimension, for executing a creation process for creating plural values of the shock absorber dimensions, then, sets a dimension parameter based on plural shock absorber dimension values created.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
