PURPOSE: To check any shock in time of door closing as well as to secure the extent of sealability lying between a door and a door frame by projecting an elastic fitting part and a hollow absorbing part to a receiver member to be installed at the side of a door stop after being energized to the door side by dint of a coil spring.

CONSTITUTION: At the time of closing a swing door, a door stop 5 of a door frame is installed in standing opposite to the free end side of this swing door 3. In this case, an elastic fitting part 14 and a hollow shock absorbing part 15 by means of an oval hole are engagedly held by a holder 7. Next, the fitting part 14 and the absorbing part 15 both are held by a receiver member 8 shiftably in the door closing direction within the specified range. In addition, elastic deformation in a coil spring is compounded to flexural deformation in the fitting part 14 and the absorbing part 15, whereby the absorbing range of an impact by a shock absorber 4 is made possible for yet more widening. With this constitution, the occurrence of a large impact noise and any damage to glass in time of door closing are all preventable with certainty.
