Abstract:

To solve the following problem involved in a shock absorber for an elevator door that: since a head 1a of a door stopper rubber 1 is formed with an elastic member, the head cannot be fastened by a tool, and is manually fastened by a worker so that a screw 1b of the door stopper rubber is loosened by vibration caused by the use of the elevator or the like, and the door stopper rubber floats or drops.

A shock absorber for an elevator door includes a buffer means absorbing a shock generated when opening and closing the elevator door, the buffer means includes a head having an elastic material and a screw with one end connected to the head and carved with a male screw on an outer periphery, and the screw is engaged with a fastening member having a female screw and disposed in a doorway frame of the elevator so as to be threaded. In the shock absorber for the elevator door, an opposite face of the head facing an attaching face of the buffer means of the doorway frame of the elevator is covered with the elastic material excluding the screw.
