Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide shock absorber fitting structure that can reduce the number of part items, shorten welding length, reduce manufacturing processes and manufacturing cost and make a body lightweight.
CONSTITUTION: A trailing arm type suspension is provided with a suspension arm 1 provided with a spindle 3 with the front end part oscillatingly supported on a body and with rear end part supporting a wheel, and a shock absorber 5 is interposed between the body and the vicinity of the spindle 3. In this case, the base end face 7a of the spindle 3 is provided with a threaded hole 13 extended axially, and the lower end part of the shock absorber 5 is supported to a bolt 14 screwed into the threaded hole 13.
