Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorber in grain chute piping which, even when the shock absorber for allowing grain to stay is provided in an inclined chute, does not require cleaning for removing the staying grain whenever the kind or the like of the transported grain is changed or whenever transportation operation is completed.SOLUTION: According to a shock absorber in grain chute piping 2, at the lower end part of an inclined chute for guiding and allowing charged grain to flow obliquely downward, there is provided a shock absorbing box 1 which includes: an inflow opening 3 communicating with the lower end part of the inclined chute; a bottom face 6 facing the inflow opening; and a discharge opening being in contact with the lowermost side of the bottom face and located so as to be approximately perpendicular to the face of the inflow opening. In the discharge opening, a regulation plate 9 is provided so that a relatively large upper discharge opening part and a relatively small lower discharge opening part are formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
