Title:
SHOCK ABSORBER FOR MOORING ROPE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3547032
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a buffering function through effective resistance against a compression force even at the rise part of distorsion by preventing the outer peripheral edge of a cylindrical body made of rubber from wearing due to abrasion and further preventing resonance of a cylindrical body made of rubber from occurring, and preventing buffering function from lowering.
SOLUTION: A plurality of cylindrical bodies 4 made of rubber having two ends being opened and a cavity 4a and a plurality of hard engaging plates 5 and 6 with which the ends of the cylindric made of rubber is engaged and in which central holes 5a and 6a are formed are alternately connected and interiorly fabricated to a cylinder body 2. Fixed covers 2a and 2b are attached to the two ends of a cylinder body, and a coupling tool 3 is attached to a fixed cover. A piston rod 7 extending through a cavity and a central hole is pointed in the direction of a cylinder core and arranged in a cylinder body. One end side of the piston rod 7 is extended through the through-hole 2c of the fixed cover and protruded to the outside. A coupling tool 8 is attached to one end thereof and a press lock plate 9 is coupled to the other end of the piston rod 7.
