To provide a shock absorber mounting structure improving ease of mounting operation.

The shock absorber 13 is disposed substantially vertically in a vehicle. An upper end of the shock absorber is attached to a vehicle body, and a lower end thereof is attached to a trailing arm (axle component) through a bush 15. The lower end of the shock absorber 13 is mounted to the trailing arm by the following mounting structure. That is, a nut 16, which has at the front end thereof a guide part 16c fitted in an inner circumference of one end in the axial direction of an inner tube 15a of the bush 15 attached to a lower part of the shock absorber 13, is attached to the trailing arm. The one end in the axial direction of the inner tube 15a of the bush 15 is fitted in the guide part 16c of the nut 16. A bolt 20 inserted into the inner tube 15a of the bush 15 is fastened against a female screw part 16a formed in the nut 16, thereby the lower part of the shock absorber 13 is attached to the trailing arm.
