A shock absorber for a stacker, which absorbs shock received by a cushion 9 due to collision of a plate-like body delivered from a delivery part, comprises a swing member 1 which swings around a swing fulcrum 7, and a first air cylinder 3 having a cylinder body part 3a and a piston part 3b. The cushion 9 is provided at the lower end part of the swing member 1, and the tip of the piston part 3b of the first air cylinder 3 contacts the swing member 1 between the swing fulcrum 7 and the cushion 9.
