Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorber dispensed with a suction pipe and reduced in the cost.SOLUTION: A shock absorber includes a cylinder 2 in which liquid is sealed, a piston 5 slidably inserted into the cylinder 2 and partitioning an inside of the cylinder 2 into a rod side chamber R1 and a piston side chamber R2, a piston rod 4 inserted into the cylinder 2 and connected to the piston 5, an outer cylinder 3 disposed on an outer peripheral side of the cylinder 2 and forming a reservoir chamber 7 between the cylinder 2 and the outer cylinder 3, a bottom member 29 closing an opening end of the cylinder 2 and having a suction port 13 communicating the piston side chamber R2 and the reservoir chamber 7, and a partition wall member 12 provided in the reservoir chamber 7. At least a part of the partition wall member 12 is arranged above the suction port 13.
