Title:
SHOCK ABSORBING CUSHION PAD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04113040
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To heighten a shock relaxation effect by providing a plurality of cell dispersing elements of an elastic body storing a liquid, and connecting the cells to a remote cell by a tube to move a fluid in the cell of a shock applied region to the other cell.

CONSTITUTION: A cushion pad 17 (35) is integrally formed with a bootie 15 made of soft elastic material, and formed by a plurality of cells 36, 37 formed of elastic material and a tube 38 for connecting the cells 36, 37 to a remote cell. The cells 36, 37 are filled with air, a liquid, gel or its mixture according to the external force. When among the cells 36, 37, one or plural cells are pressed to be contracted by a shock, a fluid in the cells 36, 37 is subjected to resistance and simultaneously moved to the interior of the remote cell through the tube 38. Thus, shock applied to a body to be impacted can be effectively softened.
