PURPOSE: To soften effectively shocks and vibrations thereby to reduce the shocking noises and repellency, by providing a foaming sheet made of styrene butadiene rubber r a compound of styrene butadiene rubber and natural rubber in tight contact with the reverse side of a surface plate.
CONSTITUTION: A shock absorbing plate is so constructed that a foaming sheet 3 is sandwiched between surface plates 1, 2. The foaming sheet 3 is in tight contact with the reverse side of each surface plate 1, 2. A sound proof floor is placed onto a base body B such as a concrete slab, etc. A foaming sheet 13 is intervened between a surface plate 11 and a lower plate 12 in a manner to be tightly contacted therewith. An elastic member 14 is provided between the lower plate 12 and the base body B. The thickness of each foaming sheet 3, 13 is generally approximately 0.5W10mm. The material of the foaming sheet is obtained by foaming styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) or a mixture of the SBR and natural rubber. The shocking time is elongated by the elasticity of the foaming sheet, and moreover, the shocking energy is lost because of the viscosity of the foaming sheet. Thus, the shock absorbing and vibration regulating function are effected.
