PURPOSE: To provide the member having a good shock absorbing function and a repulsive force imparting function to multiple directions in combination.

CONSTITUTION: This shock absorbing member 2 consists of a sheet material 2a and fluid bodies 2b enclosed into this sheet material 2a. The member has many independent blocks 2c where the fluid bodies 2b are internally enclosed and passages 2d which make the independent blocks 2c communicate with each other. All the independent blocks 2c communicate in a chain form via the passages 2d. The fluid bodies 2b internally enclosed into the respective independent blocks 2c are capable of flowing to the other independent blocks 2c adjacent to each other via the passages 2d.
