Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a composition having excellent shock resistance by compounding specific quantities of a polyamide and a maleic anhydride adduct of a block copolymer hydride.
CONSTITUTION: (A) a polyamide 50-90wt.% (the following are %), preferably 80-85% having arithmetic mean molecular weight of more 10000 (e.g. a polycaprolactam, a hexamethylene adipamide etc.), and (B) a maleic anhydride adduct 10-50%, preferably 15-20% of a block copolymer hydride of a conjugated diene having remaining unsaturation content of 5-20% of remaining unsaturation content of a hydride and a vinylaromatic hydrocarbon are compounded. Five to seventy five percent of A, B exists in the form of a graft copolymer, and contains a polyamide at the rate of 20%.
