Abstract:
To provide a shoe head capable of improving workability of an attachment/detachment work for a brake shoe, and also provide a brake device, a cotter and a brake shoe attaching/detaching method.SOLUTION: A cotter 12 is provided with a cotter engagement part 42 that can be inserted into a space S from below and arranged at a fixed position, can be pulled out downward toward a non-fixed position away from the fixed position, and is recessed or projected in a front-rear direction D1. A lock member is provided in a cotter arrangement part 15 so as to be movable back and forth in a width direction D3, and has: a lock engagement part 25 that engages the cotter engagement part 42 at the fixed position to fix the position of the cotter 12, and is disengaged from the cotter engagement part 42 when moved in the width direction D3; and an elastic member 26 that energizes the lock engagement part 25 in a direction of engaging the cotter engagement part 42.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
