PURPOSE: To facilitate making to measure and the like, and thereby improve production efficiency by constituting the lower side section of a instep to get into the inner circumferential side of a frill provided along side of the upper outer circumference of a front sole, and thereby letting the elastic frill accept compactly the lower side section of the instep.
CONSTITUTION: A shoe upper section A is composed of an insole 20, and of an instep 10 drawn into the insole. The insole 20 shall be properly strong enough, and allows the instep 10 to be drawn into the insole 20 while a shoe tree is being applied. On the other hand, a shoe lower section B to which the shoe upper section A is joined while being stretched, is composed of a front sole 50, and of a frill fitted along side of the upper outer circumference of it. And when the shoe upper section A is combined with the shoe lower section B, the lower side section 10a of the instep 10 of the shoe upper section A is covered in such a way as to be drawn into the inner circumferential side of the frill 30 of the shoe lower section B. When a frill string C is cut off into an appropriate length so as to be used as the rill 30, the lower surface of a lower side 30a in a L-shape cross sectional form is coated with adhesives so as to be bonded along the upper outer circumference of the front sole 50. By this constitution, there is no need for sewing process, thereby making it possible to improve productivity.
