Title:
SHOE-POLISHING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11197089
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To completely polish not only both side faces and the front face of a shoe but also the toe part of the shoe.

A shoe placing base 8 on which a shoe 7 is placed is reciprocally driven in the longitudinal direction. On the right and left, both sides of the shoe placing base 8, rotary brushes 19 which are rotated around vertical shafts, are respectively provided. By the rotary brushes 19, mainly both side faces of the shoe 7 are polished. At a front side of the shoe placing base 8, a base body 25 which reciprocates in the orthogonal direction based on the moving direction of the shoe placing base 8, is arranged. On the base body 25, a first brush 27 and a second brush 28 which are rotate-driven around horizontal shafts, are respectively provided. Respective brushes 27, 28 are selectively brought into contact with the shoe 7, and mainly the front face of the shoe 7 is polished. At a location under the base body 25, a rotary brush 39 which is driven around a vertical shaft, is provided. When the shoe placing base 8 has moved to the front end limit, the tip end of the shoe 7 is brought into contact with the rotary brush 39, and mainly the toe part of the shoe 7 is polished.
