Abstract:

To provide a shoe sole part which is light but has sufficient durability against strong bending force acting on the longitudinal direction of the shoe.

This shoe sole part 12 for a cycling shoe is composed of a toe part, an arch part, a thenar part, and a heel part, and has an upper part outside face 36 and a lower part outside face 38 with longitudinal direction axes extended between the toe part and the heel part, and an upper part inside face 40 and a lower part inside face 42 with an inside cavity 44 formed therebetween. The thenar part has a cleat setting area surrounding at least one of cleat setting holes extended between the upper part outside face and the lower part outside face. At least the arch part is composed of a cross section face with a center sole area with first height H1, an inside sole area with second height H2, and an outside sole area with third height H3. The first height is made lower than the second and third heights.
