To wear a plurality of shoes with ankle-foot orthoses at low cost.
An attaching groove 3 is provided in the part of a shoe body 1 from its heel part to the arch of the foot, and the bottom plate part 4a of a sole plate 4 constituting the base of an ankle-foot orthosis is inserted from the opening 3a of the groove 3. Further, a replenishment member 6 is inserted into the opening and the bottom plate part 4a and the replenishment member 6 are coupled integrally with each other by flat head screws 5. Posts are attached to the ends of the support parts 4b of the sole plate 4 and a cuff belt or the like is further attached thereon to allow a person with impaired lower extremities to wear the shoes. To separate the ankle-foot orthosis from the shoe body, the flat head screws 5 are removed and the replenishment member 6 and the sole plate 4 are pulled out from the attaching groove. The replenishment member 6 and the sole plate 5 are re-attached to another shoe body to allow the person to change the shoes. Since a set of ankle-foot orthoses can be attached to a plurality of shoes, a plurality of shoes with the ankle-foot orthoses can be worn at low cost.
