The deodorizing means is composed of the photocatalyst 31, and includes a photocatalyst excitation means for exciting the photocatalyst 31, and the photocatalyst excitation means is composed of a light emitting diode 32 emitting blue or violet light. The violet visible light emitted from the light emitting diode 32 excites the photocatalyst 31 to produce strong oxidation and reduction action for decomposing odor components of organic matters in the air passing through the photocatalyst 31.
