Abstract:
PURPOSE: To lighten and cheaply produce a pair of shoes for a bicycle, which are rigid and easy to walk and excellent in energy efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: A shoe is obtained by integrally forming a sole part forming body in which an inflection front part 1b in front of an inflection point 1a which is in almost the center in the front/rear direction is formed in an almost convex surface shape and an inflection back part 1c in the back of the inflection point 1a is formed in an almost concave surface shape, a heel part forming body 2 which is connected to the end of the sole part forming body and is formed in a convex curve which closely resembles the rear shape of the heel, a right and left sides forming body 3, and a tiptoe part forming body 4 having the closed curve in the cross section and is formed in a convex face. The shoes are rigid and light, the upward curve is small, transmission of pedalling power to the pedals are good, and walking is easy with the shoes.
