To provide a cushioning member esp. a heel-shock cushioning member to the sole part of a shoe.
A cushioning member 24 has a substantially transparent soft wall surface part 47, and is provided with a first chamber member 46 in which liquid or gel-shaped cushioning material 48 is filled, and a second chamber member 60 for supporting the first chamber member, and a gas-filling cell 66 is formed between the first chamber member and the second chamber member. Preferably, a plurality of ribs 68 are formed so as to project from the wall surface part of the second chamber member into the gas filling cell, and a plurality of gas filling cells are formed between the ribs and the first and second chamber members. the second chamber member 60 being the cushioning member is arranged on a sole part 22. Preferably, openings 38, 40 are formed to the sole part, and it is so formed that the action of the cushioning material can be visually observed from the outside of the shoe 20 through these openings.
