Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the shoes which are effective for use with a patient suffering from the gon-arthritis, are sufficiently provided with a function as the shoes to be used for the patient and do not have an odd outside shape.

CONSTITUTION: The longitudinal section of heels at the time of seating on a floor has at least 5° angle at which the extension line of the rear surfaces 7 of the heels intersects with the lines connecting the rear surfaces of the front part of shoe soles 3 and the rear surfaces of the front end of the heels. The heels are formed to the total thickness of the shoe soles 3 and the heels smaller in the rear parts than in the front parts in such a manner that the rear surfaces of the front part float from the ground. The substantial rear ends of the rear surfaces 7 of the heels exist forward of the rear ends of the shoe soles 3 apart a distance and the foot tread surfaces have sinking mechanisms not inferior to the natural impact absorbing capacity.
