Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a position of an upper structure of a shoe such as a toe or a heel by forming from a fleece thermally bonded without including an adhesive agent and to be treated by needles and a vulcanized rubber layer formed by a rubber type of EPDM, CSM, CR, EVA or VMQ. SOLUTION: A fleece 1, treated by needles, is covered with a rubber layer 2 made of a chloroprene rubber(CR) or the like and the rubber layer 2 is provided with a small bowl-shaped concave 2.1 and a narrow convex 2.2. The fleece 1 (a thickness of 1.5 mm) treated by needles is consequently vulcanized together with a chloroprene plate having a thickness of 0.5 mm, and the vulcanization causes a form of the CR layer. Then the small bowl-shaped concave 2.1 and the narrow convex 2.2 are pressed within the CR layer by a mold simultaneously operating to press depressions and projections. An obtained belt-shaped compound surface forming is suitable to a material adapting to an upper structure of a shoe.
