Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the infiltration of mud and other foreign matter between shoe soles and shoe sole pieces and to maintain a fixing function by providing shoes with superposing walls between the shoe soles and the shoe sole pieces along the peripheral edges of both.

CONSTITUTION: The shoe sole 2 consisting of rubber or synthetic resin having elasticity is fixed to the lower side of the sole part of a shoe body 1 of the shoes and the shoe sole piece 3 is fixed freely attachably and detachably by means of hook-and-loop fasteners 4a, 4b to the shoe sole 2. The superposing wall 2a is formed to rise downward along the peripheral edges of the shoe sole 2 and further, the bottom end side of the superposing wall 2a is projectingly provided with a rail-like projecting part 2b. The front end of this rail-like projecting part 2b is bulged. The inner side face and outer side faces thereof and the rear surface of the superposing wall 2a form a superposing surface 2d. The shoe sole piece 3 is composed of an accepting plate 5 and a ground contact member 6 which is fixed to the base of this accepting plate 5 and consists of felt, rubber, synthetic resin, etc. The superposing wall 5a is formed to rise upward on the receiving plate 5 along its peripheral edge and the top end side of the superposing wall 5a is provided with a hollow groove 5b.
