Abstract:
A sports shoe with a shoe bottom consisting of an insole (2), a sole body (3) and a profiled outsole (4), which bottom has, in the heel region of the sole body (3) in a recess (10) of the sole body, an insert (12) made of elastically flexible material for the shock- absorbing support of the heel. The sole body (3) consists of a softly flexible plastic material and the insert (12) is exchangeable and insertable in the recess (10) from the inside of the shoe through an opening (6) provided in the heel region of the insole (2). As a result, the flexibility, which is in itself very great, of the sole body (3) can be individually modified by means of inserts (12) of different hardness and/or thickness, without price-increasing measures being necessary for fixing the insert.
