Abstract:
To create a safe Shoji space, representing the Japanese style, with a fire-retardant material, which can be provided even in a tall building requiring a high fire retardancy, and to solve the problem that a Shoji will be heavy and lack practicability if an entire lattice of the Shoji is formed from metal to achieve a fire retardancy.SOLUTION: In a Shoji-like fire-retardant Fusuma of the present invention, drawing a Shoji-like picture on a Fusuma, which is relatively easy to be fire-retardant, enables a Shoji space to be fire-retardant. Also, permeabilizing a front decoration paper of a Fusuma enables the Fusuma to look more like a real Shoji.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
