Abstract:
To provide an imaging timing control device capable of suppressing variations in brightness between images even if imaging is performed under periodically fluctuating ambient light.SOLUTION: An imaging timing control device 16 used with an imaging apparatus for performing imaging under periodically fluctuating ambient light, includes: a light amount sensor 17 for measuring a light amount of the ambient light; and an analysis unit 18 for analyzing a periodic fluctuation of intensity of the ambient light on the basis of a measurement value by the light amount sensor, determining an exposure start phase in the periodic fluctuation, and transmitting to the imaging apparatus an exposure start instruction for starting exposure in accordance with the exposure start phase.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
