Abstract:
PURPOSE: To securely prevent generation of short-circuiting with respect to various handling of a battery pack by disposing a mechanism where a battery cell cannot be connected to output terminals of the battery pack in a state where the battery pack is removed from a device.
CONSTITUTION: At least two protecting terminals 13a, 13b are provided in such a manner as to be opened in series with respect to an electrode of a battery cell 12 inside a battery pack 1. Circuit connection between the terminals 13a, 13b via an outside contact 2 enables the battery cell 12 to be circuit-connected to output terminals 11A, 11B of the battery pack 1.
