PURPOSE: To enable the preventing of exudation and spillage of a liquid while improving fitness in wearing by mounting an elastic ribbon in the perimeter of a waist so as to sandwich an absorbing body and both laminate end rims of an exterior member.
CONSTITUTION: An absorbing body 9 is made up of a surface material 10, a rear material 11, an absorbing body 12 and a stretchable elastic member 14 and a solid gathering 13 is formed on both side rims. An exterior member 18 has a back sheet 25 arranged at a part where the absorbing body 9 is joined at the lateral central part on an outermost layer sheet 24 and a side sheet 16 is arranged at both side parts of the back sheet 25 sandwiching an elastic member 15 of an leg opening. The absorbing body 9 is joined onto the outer layer member 18 to form a laminate body. An elastic ribbon 5 is grasped with an elastic ribbon grasping part 17 formed at both ends in the longitudinal direction of a joint laminate body containing a folded part of the solid gathering 13 formed at both ends in the longitudinal direction of the joint laminate body to mount the elastic ribbon 5.
