To obtain a shoulder pad excellent in attaching workability and capable of forming a beautiful shoulder line by laminating an upper material to a shoulder pad substrate so as to enable the separation of the upper material from the shoulder pad substrate in an area for sewing the shoulder pad on a garment.

This shoulder pad 1 comprises a shoulder pad substrate 2 (especially preferably a molded nonwoven fabric) and an upper material 3 (e.g. a nonwoven fabric comprising fibers such as polyester fibers, nylon fibers or rayon fibers, a nonwoven fabric reinforced with yarns, a stitch-bound nonwoven fabric, a woven fabric such as calico or sleek, or a knitted fabric). The upper material is separably laminated to the shoulder pad substrate 2 in an area for sewing the shoulder pad 1 on a garment. A guide yarn 6 showing a position for attaching the shoulder pad 1 to a fabric may be sewed on the upper material 3 by the use of an over lock sewing machine, etc., and further a guide yarn 7 for showing a position corresponding to a shoulder line may be sewed on the upper material 3.
