This shouldering work machine allows a worker to perform work by shouldering the engine 2, and has a frame 3, a support bracket 18 supported by the frame 3 by an elastic body and the engine 2 rotatably fixed to the support bracket 18 with a horizontal shaft as the center so that the motional direction of a piston becomes almost horizontal, and has a vertical elastic body 19 interposed in the almost vertical direction between a lower part of the support bracket 18 and the frame 3 and having elasticity at least in the vertical direction and a longitudinal elastic body 20 interposed in the almost horizontal direction between an upper part of the support bracket 18 and the frame 3 and having elasticity at least in the longitudinal direction, as the elastic body.
